‘SILVERY STILLNESS’ is a calm composition of an abstracted dreamy landscape where hints of architectural structures sit on a distant horizon.
This is an original painting in mixed media including silver leaf, most of which is gently glazed. Painted in artist quality materials, it features layering of a softly blended colourfield in soft salmon pink, pale blue and neutrals, with subtle mark making and sgraffito. Glimpses of silver leaf appear through the layering and the auspicious “ Emperor number 9” also peeks through, attracting the best in life.
The artist signature is in paint on the front, and in permanent ink on the back of the canvas. Framed in a Tasmanian Oak floater-frame with cord and two metal d-rings, it is ready to hang.
